From concept to completion, I have a huge hand as Creative Director, in how these packages come together. After working closely with the Editor, I begin the process by creating my custom grid. Each project is then designed with only bare bones and dummy copy allowing me to create exact word counts for writers. Then photography concepts and design elements begin to emerge. I base everything on what the purpose of the package is and what the tone of the story will be. I art direct the entire process, oversee the editing of photos and then design the complete feature myself. I really enjoy watching things come together in the end, and I only work with the best people to make these projects come together. here’s a few of my favorites.

I began designing Tag Magazine in December of 2011. I got to have a lot of freedom designing for the magazine and along with the whole tag team we worked hard to bring SGF a new point of view.

Tag magazine focused on local SGF entertainment. TAG covered the people and events that were forsaken by others.

The displayed magazines to the right are some of my favorite additions of Tag Magazine. Sadly, Tag closed their doors in March 2014, but will forever be a part of this community. RIP TAG Media. I miss you.

The Armory Art Galleries have displayed many works from artists all over the world. These are the direct mailers I created for some of these exhibitions. Designing a strong logo is both exciting nd challenging. I believe that a good logo should be able to stand alone as an all black design. Successful websites use strategy, usability, and insight to win over their consumers and provoke them to purchase. It's important to understand this before beginning your own website adventure. I specialize in portfolio sites and blogging sites but also can design and then outsource larger commercial sites as well. These are 3 of my favorite websites I have done, along with my own site of course!

These label designs were created for a new Brewery located in Jupiter Florida. The beer is a complex and rich porter. It comes in at  7.7% ABV and is dark brown in color with a robust, alluring aroma. Best enjoyed after a session of killer waves or for a different kind of session while surfing channels on the couch. Created for Anheuser Busch by Master Brewer 555.

My illustration technique varies depending on the project. I am very attached to hand drawn techniques, however I usually make them digital at some point in the process. Using a combination of hand drawn and digital techniques llows me to play with color palettes and background patterns and gives me more freedom during the whole process. This is an area where I am able to be true to my own artistic intuition and just let go. Many of my illustrations are available for purchase.
